Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
On your arrival, you will be received by our representatives
at the airport. From there, you will be escorted to the hotel
for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi - Overnight Train
In the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards,
you will leave for a full day tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi.
You will be visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple,
India Gate and Connaught Place. Late in the evening you will
be transferred to the railway station for overnight journey
to Varanasi.
Day 3: Varanasi Temple Tour
After arrival at Varanasi you will transfer to hotel. After
breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a full day temple
tour of Varanasi. You will be visiting the Bharat Mata Temple,
Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. After
attending the evening aarti at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple,
you will retire back to the hotel.
Day 4: Varanasi Sightseeing
After having breakfast in the morning, you will again leave
for a sightseeing tour of the city. The tour will include a
visit to Benaras Hindu University (BHU), the Archaeological
Museum, Bharat Kala Bhavan and Ramnagar Fort. The night stay
will be at the hotel.
Day 5: Varanasi - Sarnath - Varanasi
After having breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a
full day tour of the holy city of Sarnath. Sarnath holds the
distinction of being the venue of the first sermon by Lord Buddha.
Here, you will visit various Buddhist stupas and Buddhist temples
and the Sarnath temple. By late evening, you will return to
your hotel in Varanasi.
Day 6: Varanasi - Allahabad
In the morning, you will leave for Allahabad. On arrival, you
will check into a hotel. This will be followed by a half-day
tour of the city, in which you will visit the Allahabad Fort,
Allahabad Museum, Anand Bhawan and the Swaraj Bhawan. The overnight
stay will be at the hotel.
Day 7: Allahabad - Kaushambi - Overnight Train
In the morning, you will leave for a full day tour of Kaushambi.
One of the popular Buddhist destinations in India, it offers
a large number of architectural relics and ruins. Here, you
will visit stupas, Kaushambi Museum, Ashokan Pillar, an old
fort and Ghositaram Monastery. By late evening, you will be
transferred to the railway station for overnight journey to
Delhi. Overnight onboard the train.
Day 8: Delhi
Upon reaching Delhi in the morning, you will check into hotel.
You will spend rest of the day at leisure and in the evening
you will be escorted to the international airport to catch the
flight for onward journey/destination.
